Cons

No room for growth in administrative and leadership roles. The only way you can move throughout the system in a hierarchy is to 'know' someone.

Largest hospital system outside of the VA. Level one trauma center offers great experience in a wide variety of disciplines. Teaching hospital. Magnet hospital.

Cons

Largest employer of nurses in the area makes you a number and not a valued employee. Being one of only two major hospital systems in the area, they keep nursing pay low compared to state and national pay scales of cities with similar size and cost of living.
