Pros

- Good local leadership at my hotel. - Pay was above average for my position.

Cons

- Company claims to be employee-centric, however, it becomes clear they care more about the bottom line and corporate management than anyone else. - The only true way to move forward with the company is to be a 'yes-man' personality. If you ask too many questions or share legitimate concerns you become the outcast and lose out on opportunities. - No sensitivity from the corporate leadership during the recent pandemic. Managers were required to work 60 plus hours a week (emphasis on the plus) at 20% less pay and only one day off, yet only 48hrs were reported up to the owners. While the hotel managers were working these crazy hours, the CEO had the audacity to mention on a weekly call that he had been so busy that week he could barely get in a round of golf. - Disconcerting that the upper corporate management did not take the initial pay cuts and only included themselves as a terciary option after cutting all of the actual working hotel staff and removing all benefits. I would question as to whether they even took a pay cut at all while they watched their local hotel staff work themselves to the bone.

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your experience. Our Associates are our most valued asset. We are thrilled that you were happy with your local leadership and compensation. Given where we are as a company and where we hope to be in the future, we know we cannot get there without the hard work and dedication of our Associates. With the pandemic came much uncertainty and in these unprecedented times, we are always trying our best to consider employees on all levels. Thank you again for your input and we will reflect on it as we continue to make Atrium Hospitality a great company for whom to work.
