Hotel Discount, Uncapped Bonus Plan

Cons

No paid holidays, even though corporate gets paid holidays No work/life balance. Have to work many weekends and nights Pay is low in comparison to other hotels in the area Benefits are expensive

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback about your experience as an Atrium Hospitality Associate. Today, it seems like we are all looking for ways to more effectively balance our personal and professional lives and we don't want either to suffer for it. Yet, we understand that part of what comes with working for a growing company may, at times, mean putting in hours that are demanding. As a company, we recognize that it is important for our Associates to plug into their families after a long work day or week. As we continue to grow, we will hire and place the right people in positions so that we can maintain the staffing levels required for optimal efficiency, performance and results. And when those days or weeks come when we know we are asking people to stretch a little further than usual, we will add some FUN to the equation to show everyone how much we appreciate their hard work and personal sacrifice. As to your comments about paid holidays, your feedback is noted and has been echoed by others. We are consistently looking at our policies in an effort to adjust them in ways that benefit our associates without also creating challenges to business operations. Thank you for your valuable feedback! We appreciate your efforts to make Atrium Hospitality a great place to work and grow!

Failing management all around

Not much. Maybe the hotel discount?

Cons

Disorganized. Unfair. Disrespectful culture. A very amateur-like feel when it comes to decision making. Changes that they implement are usually useless and always more disruptive than they need to be. Lower level managers are the worst issue. Even the HR department has gained a reputation of ignoring/ ineffectively dealing with reported issues with management. Multiple accounts of this happening with many employees. Even higher level managers have begun to ignore reported issues on HR and other managers. Extremely toxic and unprofessional place to work. Don't waste your time.

Pros

Hotel discount is a major perk. Cafe and lunch tickets were also very convenient when working long shifts.

Cons

Disorganized establishment resulting from upper management. Hotel management has little respect for employees and it shows. Numbers are the only thing important to this company and have no issues letting go of loyal employees by making unrealistic tasks, unrealistic budget expectations, and dis functional working environments; mentally and physically.
