Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We agree working as a Behavior Technician is a great way to get hands-on experience in the ABA field. We’re very competitive with our pay ranges and we work hard to continually find ways to improve compensation and benefits for all our employees. Recently, we reevaluated our pay structure for several regions, including North Carolina for both our current employees and those just joining our teams. We value our employees and embrace incorporating changes that reflect this. We also understand how difficult your position can be which is why we work to support our staff as much as possible, including offering benefits for those not working full-time hours, with benefits packages available for employees who only work 20 hours per week (which most of our BTs can access). Please know we value your time and the important work you accomplished here at ALP. Thanks again for sharing your honest feedback and we wish you the best in your future roles.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a great review! To be the best company, you must have the best employees. We pride ourselves on hiring passionate, caring, and amazing staff like yourself. We also appreciate you recognizing our efforts to continuously evaluate and update our pay standards based on trends in our field. We currently do a pay review of all positions at least once a year to ensure we’re in line with industry benchmarks. We also offer flexibility with scheduling to accommodate our employees’ personal lives. We hope to see you grow with the company and we’ll be there alongside you every step of the way!

Pros

At least you get paid for training even though it doesn't prepare you.

Cons

The employers treat the new employees very poorly. I worked there only 3 months and they expected me to be a pro with working with autistic children by then. They didn't even let the children get to know the employees first before feeding, changing, etc. the clients.
