Pros

The company is more than willing to invest in your professional development. It is a great place to get experience quickly. The supervisors at my location were very thoughtful and qualified. I never had any problems getting issues resolved through them. The job can be very rewarding when your client excels, and is a perfect starting point for a career in mental health services.

Cons

You may often feel inadequately prepared in the field. Inter-company communication is subpar, causing lapses in client coverage and loss of working hours. It poorly reflects on those in direct communication with the clients. You will most definitely experience burnout. You work in the field alone most of the time and have no communication with other behavior techs, other than meetings.
