Pros

Pay was more than my previous job In the beginning I got overtime on every paycheck

Cons

They make you feel really supported during training and during maybe your first client then the communication is dropped off to almost nonexistent. Supervisors fail to pass on crucial information that can affect sessions or relationships with client parents. Inexperienced BI's are often guinea pigs for extremely difficult clients that have never had services before. Don't ever make any kind of comments about drive time. They'll take you from 40+ overtime to barely getting enough hours to qualify for benefits or money to pay your bills. New BI's are given client priority over employees that have worked there longer. If there's a gap in your schedule it'll be there for months. I often felt chastised by my supervisor and that they left out information because they didn't like me.

Pros

The bathrooms and Monrovia Office was beautiful. We were treated like gold during training. It's hard to say more positive things because there isn't any.

Cons

The pay was very low for the work. Some office staff were paid higher than people out in the field who had to have a BA or B'S degree. The office staff in Monrovia was so unprofessional. They promoted people based on who they liked and treated others like they were children.

Pros

Most of the BIs are nice. The kids are awesome and fun to work with.

Cons

Hours often get cut with no replacement. Weeks go by without a new client to help with income. Alt sessions are few and far in between. Scheduling is not strategic, often feels like people are just slapping things together without considering other options for BIs. Communication is lacking. Zero company transparency. Too many Bis and not enough clients. Further education is required to move up (i.e. Masters or PhD)
