Lies and Low Pay

Pros

Some supervisors care. Kids are great. You get CPR and CPI training for your resume

Cons

Low hours. False promises by recruiters. Rules always changing. Low pay. Only favorites get promotions or raises. New staff get more hours and then lose them. Supervisors tired. Supervisors change all the time. Center has so many cliques, with ALL staff. Higher ups show up in tiny clothes but you get told to change for the dress code if someone doesn’t like you. Aupervisors play favorites and everyone else is in trouble. Admin is paid less but you have to do it

Opportunities for growth if they like you, flexible schedule, reasonable billable hours, opportunities to learn to be a competent BCBA, Senior Clinical Director easy to work with.

Cons

Overworked, underpaid, excessive driving, favoritism, had to constantly advocate for myself, newer staff got paid more than loyal employees, high turnover of entry level staff, bonus structure needs modification, no language premium for supervisors.
