Pros

AutoNation is a real family environment, as it is a real team focused on a single goal. Teams work to push the envelope on innovation by addressing the needs of the customer. I am in a new team in eCommerce, which feels like an incubator with the backing/resources of a Fortune 200. Fun and challenging environment.

Cons

Biggest challenge is the industry. The teams are focused on changing a 100 year old industry with modern technologies. The constant friction point is the balance between the OEM and store change as the largest automotive retailer in the US.

Pros

Employee discount on automotive services.

Cons

Poor communication within certain departments. Issues that need to be addressed by management are often pushed to the side. Employee recognization and appreciation is low. There is a lack of kindness and caring, and an abundance of harrasment and disrespect between co-workers in certain departments.

Pros

Good Leadership and Training. A supportive environment to work in. For being new to auto sales, the managers were very supportive and they're shared your excitement when you closed a sale. The managers all had 10+ years in the business. They were knowledgeable and had worked their way up to becoming a manager. Great Experience!

Cons

Too long from hire date to when benefits start.
