      Pros

      Avail puts their employees first, always. The management really cares about each individual and their career and life goals. Avail has offered me so many opportunities to grow and develop professionally, they have allowed me to feel confident while still challenging me daily. Within Avail, I have grown a team and have been put in a people-management role for the first time. I truly feel very passionate about the product, customer, and team. I am lucky to come to work each day at Avail.

      Cons

      As a startup, we move fast and continually iterate on the product - things are always changing. We are extremely scrappy and expert problem solvers. This is not a clock-in, clock-out job. This is a career and if you aren't willing to put in the hard work and hours, this is not a good fit for you.

      Pros

      What I've loved the most about working at Avail over the past year is the amount of personal growth I've been able to achieve and the bond I've formed with each team member. Each person brings a unique skillset to the table, works hard to put out their best work, and has an eagerness to learn and grow on a daily basis. The startup perks are also a great added benefit! Unlimited PTO, a kitchen full of snacks, happy hours, etc. Overall, I'm grateful to be part of such an awesome team and look forward to each day that holds more opportunity to grow.

      Cons

      As the nature of a startup goes, there's a lot to be done in a short period of time, so some days may require extra work hours. The nice thing is that you can expense dinner/ubers for days when you do end up working late at the office. If you're looking for an easy job that doesn't present unique challenges that push you to think critically and learn daily, this may not be cut out for you.

      Great Team to Work With

      Pros

      Friendly and positive work environment. Management is open to feedback and eager to listen to their employees. Everyone works hard to support each other. Flexible PTO. Nice kitchen, snacks, and 312 happy hour outings.

      Cons

      It's a start-up, so the work-load can be heavier than a traditional 9-5.
