Pros

Great work life balance - there is a huge emphasis on not working after hours or on the weekend unless it is due to an issue we caused. Very friendly people - everyone I have met is very friendly, respectful and super helpful. Good pay - the compensation is good, but not great, however, there is a bonus available which does help. Excellent benefits, like unlimited PTO, which they actually do encourage you to take. Good training and onboarding - there are gaps but I was very impressed with how well they onboarded their staff (sent all of the necessary items, laptop, headphones etc.) and held an open Teams session so that questions could be asked live and shared with the group of new employees.

Cons

Nothing at this time - extremely happy that I chose to join the company.

Pros

After working for corporate & some other places, this is an AMAZING company! They are so focused on building you as a person and as an employee. They encourage you to take PTO, spend time with your family, & holidays are company paid. They value you as a person & employee! They promote from within & as you get close to your 1-year mark they try to set a goal on which department you want to go to. CSR 1 preps you for any department & gives you a solid foundation to move around within the company.

Cons

So far I don't see or have experienced any cons with this company. They are so encouraging, focused on your goals & growth, & promoting you within the company.

Pros

There are no pros in my opinion.

Cons

- They forced new employees to leave 5 star reviews during our first week which is why they have such great reviews. -They micromanage and require you to keep your camera on at all times if you work remotely. -If you are even one second late coming back from lunch break, you get penalized -High turn-over, lots of people are quitting.

Thank you for taking the time to provide a review. You see, early feedback might tell us about our hiring and onboarding processes, whereas feedback from more tenured associates can inform our culture or technologies, or business practices. Good or bad, associate feedback is a critical part of our culture—whether you’ve been with us for five years or five minutes. It’s all valuable and vital to improving. We are going to disagree with your torture assessment. However, if you felt that you had a bad experience, we apologize. It’s surprising to hear, given that Availity was just recognized for the second year in a row as a certified Great Place to Work™ company. This designation comes from surveys of our associates—94% of which said that we are a great place to work. Does that mean we are perfect? Of course not. Availity is a continuous improvement company, and we use associate feedback to identify where and how we can improve. While we don’t encourage the behavior, there are likely instances of micromanagement taking place in pockets of our organization as it does in most organizations. But this behavior is fixable when we know about it, so we encourage associates to speak up. Lastly, Availity does not have a camera use policy for remote associates. Some managers prefer to have the cameras on during meetings, and others don’t—we leave that to the manager’s discretion.
