Pros

This company is incredibly employee focused. They provide pretty good pay, benefits, and the current employees are open and accepting of everyone who joins. They hire internally a lot. The pathway to progress throughout the company is open and available to anyone who puts in the work. The team leads are awesome and work with you to further your career. They provide invaluable help when it comes to preparations for interviews, learning new skills and presenting yourself through your work. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone that is looking for an entry level position to apply for this company.

Cons

Some of the work that you do is repetitive and boring. You'll also be on non-stop calls for your entire shift. Like any call center job, you'll also experience some nasty callers, but the pros far outweigh the cons.

We value our associates tremendously, so we strive to provide the proper training and resources to help them succeed. Most jobs have some level of repetition, but it’s essential to consider the big picture and reflect on all aspects of a job. At Availity, you are part of an organization that is actively improving the nation’s healthcare system. Our customers call us when something isn’t working for them. And when technology doesn’t work as expected, it’s frustrating. We’ve all been there. However, most customers are so grateful for our assistance and end their calls delighted with our service. We appreciate your feedback about the call center wait times. Wait times are something we monitor very closely and are constantly working to improve through e-ticketing, product improvements, user training, client communications, and more. Indeed, some instances are busier than usual, so we appreciate the dedication and professionalism of our client services team. Pros

Availity is a great company to work. Lot of opportunities to learn and grow. The Interview process was fast and easy. I had an HR round and then in a week had interview with the Manager. And I received the offer the same day.

Cons

None at this point of time.

Pros

The team culture was nice and the supervisors and SME’s were always helpful and informative. They offer fully remote work which is nice. The pay was decent for the position itself.

Cons

It’s a very highly metric oriented job. The call volumes are high, especially when there are system issues or tool issues, which does happen frequently. Short breaks that are scheduled for you & the break times vary day to day. If you’re comfortable with high call volumes and doing nothing but answering calls all day from typically frustrated clients, then you may be a good fit. People do advance with this company, but you will have to make sure your metrics scores are almost perfect in every area to be considered.

Availity Client Services Associates are well-trained and highly skilled at helping clients and users tackle some challenges they may encounter within our systems. Sometimes, we experience higher-than-average call volumes for various reasons, but we work hard to coordinate as an organization to mitigate this when/where we can. This position can make each customer feel important regardless of the issue. We are a technology company and will encounter challenges along the way. However, how we respond is critical to our success in providing our clients with what they need at that moment. The metrics and service goals we have in place provide us with the data we need to scale and grow the team while delivering a consistent user experience. Thank you for mentioning that several Client Services Associates have been promoted into other business areas at Availity—because so many have throughout the years. For those new to healthcare, Availity Client Services is an excellent way to build a lasting career. We appreciate your feedback and wish you much success in your next chapter.
