      New hires beware...

      Company seems to be healthy, competitive, and employs good people.

      Cons

      From the time I was there, I gathered they hire and fire somewhat quickly. I heard stories about "x intern" or "y new hire", that was let go shortly later. I was also let go after a very short time for unclear reasons. They hire in bulk and keep a very select few. If this is your first job out of college, don't expect to be considered for the long term. They certainly aren't. This is speculation, but I suspect they hire people with not much experience in hopes they are worth much more than they are paid. A significant portion of their staff consists of younger people (at least the programmers). They keep the top performers and lay the rest to the wayside.

      Internships are always for specific time periods and we have not had an intern leave during their defined internship period since we rolled our program out 2 years ago. We have had very positive experiences with our Interns and have hired 75% of those who have graduated and are available for full time employment with amazing results. We have only had one involuntary termination in our Developer group in the past year so we do typically hire the best and work to retain these individuals.       Good Company For Software In Indianapolis

      Pros

      I enjoy the people and environment in the Indianapolis office. The technologies are beginning to move in the proper direction.

      Cons

      Salary isn't as good as other opportunities around Indianapolis. More conference opportunities for development staff in Indianapolis.

      Promotion opportunities and great new perks

      Recently promoted from ACS to a new role. Really appreciate my manager working with me on shaping my career and Availity's interest in promoting internally. Great new space on the 2nd floor.

Great to hear that you are enjoying the new space on the 2nd floor! Parking issues can be an unfortunate part of the pains of a growing business. The lot next to ours has available space; it’s a bit further but on a positive note, Fit Bit users can get in those extra steps!
