      Pros

      Great work life balance! Both of my managers have encouraged taking time off and never feel have to feel guilty when I have to leave for an appointment.

      Cons

      Even though the company encourages remote employment, there is so much focus on the Jacksonville area that you sometimes feel like you're missing out on things.

Everyone needs time to step away and enjoy life outside of work. This flexibility is one of several reasons why Availity has once again been certified as a Great Place to Work™. We have fully embraced our remote culture and all the perks that come along with it. While nearly all associates are remote, Availity is headquartered in Jacksonville and still has a sizeable local workforce. This does require some creativity to keep the teams connected. Some of our best practices include: virtual events and activities, Town Halls, and All Associate Meetings, and having our cameras on during meetings. If you have other ideas that might make you and associates outside the Jacksonville office feel more engaged, please share them with your manager or HR Business Partner.
