Complete lack of ability to read the situation

My colleagues are great people who deserve better but it’s a hard work environment so are sticking it out.

Cons

Senior management has a complete lack of ability and insight to what has gone wrong with the business, highlighted by the CEOs amazing move to take leadership of Advisory when he has publicly admitted he knows nothing about that business.

Toxic company that only cares about making money not its employees

Decent people to work with at the company and good pay/benefits

Cons

No work life balance with lots of late nights and weekend work. There is an expectation/culture that you get work done for the client no matter what/no vacation time if there is work that needs to be done for the client (which there always is) which creates a very toxic work environment. Was told I couldn't take PTO because I had work to be completed for the client. No bonuses despite the crazy hours asked to work and there are toxic/difficult clients. Upper management should step in when clients become toxic towards employees but don't. The company also offers extra pay for some weekend work but there are a ton of stipulations which they use later on as reasoning to not pay you for the extra work that has already been done. The company has no business ethics.
