Pros

There are competent, good people there.

Cons

The management level is occupied largely by incompetents who blame everyone but themselves for poor performance. They keep throwing stuff at you piecemeal, and I've seen departments simply refuse to take projects from managers because the managers didn't bother to consider anyone's workload or schedule.

I was surprised to see this feedback. Firstly because the business is performing very well and secondly because one of the things we pride ourselves in is a ‘no-blame’ culture. I cannot claim that management don’t make mistakes, but I can say that we have a long-serving and highly experienced management team who I believe care greatly about the teams with whom they work. I can also say that I am personally available to talk to anyone who feels that they have had a negative experience at Fishawack (preferably before they leave but also afterwards). Please feel free to reach out to me or if you prefer to talk to our HR team, then please contact them on HR@fishawack.com. Oliver Dennis Chief Executive Officer

Pros

Exposure to a wide variety of inspiring work/clients Work alongside very talented, high-performing colleagues Continuous learning, challenge and growth Generous PTO and benefits

Cons

It is no secret a VC firm is preparing to sell this company to another in the near future. The focus on productivity and billable hours is out of control, with utilization already way above average. Despite a lot of talk about balance, wellness and mental health, it's truly all about the numbers. I regularly had 8-14 back-to-back meeting days and then had to catch up after hours to get ready for the next day of the same. Naturally no one responded when an account grew and the team was unable to manage the workload any more...and I was replaced by 3 people. The squeaky wheels do not get the grease.
