      A toxic company that's winding down

      None that I can think of.

      Cons

      It looks like Platinum Equity, which owns this dreadful company, is finally winding it down. They've tried to sell it for years with no success. The top-heavy executive team changes its strategy every 6 weeks or so, can't pay the bills and can't refinance the debt. Constant small layoffs have been the norm but now they've become massive layoffs of several hundred people at once. You'll get nothing but a pink slip for being a top contributor, hard worker, or subject matter expert if they think they can find someone - anyone - cheaper. At this point they don't have the right people to carry the business forward even if they could pull it out of its death spiral.

      Everything. Poor communication, lack of transparency, extremely poor leadership, financially unstable. The company is in a very poor state but keeps hiring overpaid C level and VP contractors. Management teams continue to change regularly. There are no process and procedures in place. It's like this company is a start up and trying to figure everything out as they go. When tried to help with how things should be ran in IT help desk, we would get told, "this is a different environment and just not how things are ran here" but yet they claim they're a technology company and follow ITIL. Security is preached yet everyone has admin rights on their company issued machines. It's a complete joke.

      Some of the people there were hard working, and willing to help, but unfortunately, that is not rewarded at this company.

      Cons

      Management didn't know what they were doing and ran things into the ground.
