      Pros

      Remote work for most of the employees.

      Cons

      Disorganized organization, owned by an investment firm that just looks at the bottom dollar. Communication between teams is horrible and not encouraged by management. Workflows are inconsistent and not thorough. The clients (DOCs) are misled and the company is not transparent with self-reporting. Seemed like everyone is just trying to hang onto their jobs until a better one comes along. A funny kicker on how tight Securus is with budgets is that once a quarter we would get an email asking how to save money for the company, lol.

      Transitioning to bodyshop

      Pros

      - Team members are great to work with - Can WFH full time post covid (complete 180 from previous non-wfh policy) - Freedom to challenge yourself with new things

      Cons

      - Aventiv is in the downward spiral of outsourcing all of their employees to the TCS contractor bodyshop for cheap labor. Started with Help Desk and QA last year, currently the rest of IT Operations, and no doubt will continue on to other departments such as Production Support, Dev, etc. -Pay is already below market -Lots of ego in certain departments who make very bad decisions and waste money on equipment with no plan on implementing it. Incapable of accepting responsibility. -Company (CEO?) does not value their employees at all per the first con listed above. -Terrible health plan which was made worse in 2020. -Company has gone woke and actually instructed they need to hire more minorities in an all hands meeting.
