I have been working with Avenue5 for less than a year, This is a terrible company. We have had non stop issues at our property. We get picked on and singled out. Discrimination runs rampant in our sector. If you arent perfect looking they dont like you. The RM's and our VP are all very rude and condescending. We get treated very unfairly and if we tell them we dont agree on something they then just make our lives harder. We have not gotten trained correctly either, so then if there is a mistake made we get in trouble instead of them acknowledging their faults. Bottom line is they dont care about their employees and will let you know that.

High turn over Hires outside of company before within Lack of training for growth Low employee value at every in office position Micromangement on a daily basis to every office position Punishment for completed and successful goals due interim co-CEO unbeknownst, almost impossible ideals. This goes hand in hand with extremely poor communication. With that, lack of acknowledged successes. E.g., success of daily sales, pre-sales, high occupancy, high leasing rates. All things my office exceeded goals on but were never 'good enough' and 'could be done better'. To clarify, these words came from out-of-office management as we met the goals they set for us. High school like environment between upper management that trickles across offices

-Onsite team members and upper level management are terrific and supportive -Terrific training programs offered with supportive career development team for onsite roles, still developing corporate support training -Great health benefits and paid time off..do not plan to use your time off as you will be contacted while you are out... also forget about utilizing sick time -Growth opportunities for onsite team members but not at corporate support level

Cons

-My last day cannot come soon enough! -Horrible human resources leadership, constant turnover due to toxic environment. Other corporate support departments within Avenue5 are terrific to work with, but the HR team is not the place to be. (RUN) -Unethical practices, problems not addressed and constantly swept under the rug. -No boundaries or respect provided if time off is utilized -Under supportive leadership throwing you under the bus rather than partnering to provide professional solutions -Executive HR leadership is scattered, unorganized and disconnected from operational reality -Constant micromanagement and dated administrative functions, not willing to invest in new technology -Turnover is high and not evaluated
