Pros

I have actually really loved working for Avetta, it seems like they care about their employees.

Cons

The raises this year were abysmal, and a matter of pennies.

No Leadership, Setup for Failure

Pros

Good healthcare, decent pay, flexible work schedule.

Cons

There is no sense of leadership. My manager was not meant to be a leader or manager, too busy working on their projects for Professional Services and didn't take time out to make sure I had available resources for onboarding. When you hire someone new to the company, you should at least give them proper training for the job they do. The new hire should not only get help from the employee with seniority of 2 months who is also running their own projects and wasn't inclusive on shadowing them. I addressed my issues with training in my 3 month evaluation saying I don't have proper training, I don't have any projects to work on. No one is giving me anything to do at work. I addressed that I felt like I'm not a part of the team as I feel like I was just hired just to be hired. Come to my 6 month evaluation and turns out I'm let go because I wasn't doing any projects and blamed me for having errors on my FIRST project with little to no training which I previously addressed as a concern at my 3 month evaluation. My manager may be good at their job in Professional Services department, but wasn't a good leader/manager to be leading new hires that are new to the company and the industry the company serves. I felt like I was setup for failure from the start.

Pros

Flexible work environment, great coworkers, complex problems to solve.

Cons

Organizational structure needs some work, but it is trending in the right direction. Bonuses are more tied to company performance than individual. Salaries have not kept up with market rates, and raises last year were dismal for many employees. No women in c-suite.

Thank you for your feedback. We recognize that bonus structures being tied to overall company performance did not work for a lot of employees, and we have updated that for next year's payouts. Regarding salary increases, they are tied to individual performance as well as market rates. We utilize a global market survey system that allows us to remain competitve with our salary grades. We are also happy to let you know that our Talent Development team does offer formal career paths in our Avetta University system. Please feel free to reach out to one of our Knowledge Managers or HR for furhter information.
