Pros

The people you work closely with are nice. But the turnover is high, so that doesn’t last long.

Cons

Work life balance doesn’t exist. I’ve expressed this to members in HR and to my manager and get zero help with empty promises. Expected to be available at all hours and even during PTO. Get strung along for promotions after being promised multiple times. Assigned to work long hours and exhaust yourself mentality, with no reward. Direct report only cares about how he comes off to his superiors and not about the department he runs.

Thank you for your feedback. We are not aware that employees are expected to be available at all hours or during PTO. This is not the company's expectation. Please feel free to reach out to HR to discuss this further.

Pros

Some amazing people worked here. There was a point when mobility was possible.

Cons

Non-transparent and deceitful. Don't ever believe anything unless you see it in writing. Managers say they will change compensation packages but then nothing ever changes. They tell employees out on disability that their jobs are secure but then turn around and fire employees bc of said disabilities. Of course legally they cite the reason as "abscence causing unecessary strain on the company" which is odd because they fire people regularly saying that the company doesn't have enough work to go around. Contradictory statements like these make it hard to believe anyone is sincere. A company that actually cared about employees that have worked there for several years would make an effort like hiring a temp while employees recover. Instead, Avetta just makes a superficial paper trail to make it look like they tried. Typical for a company that only cares about the profit. They will take any chance they can to get rid of an employee and try to save money. This is not shocking given the way they treat clients like nothing more than a payday. The hiring and firing of people doesn't seem to have any rhyme or reason. Just don't get too sick to work and you might have better luck.

Pros

People are generally nice and kind. Free snacks. Good medical, dental plan.

Cons

Everything here is based on corporate greed, numbers and employees are simply commodities. People here are good people. They are too naive to deal with those clever yet evil executives and investors. They love naive people. People don't question them, don't have doubt to them, and work hard and bring money every month. People are so naive that easily pleased with free snacks and cheap entertainment. Who wouldn't love such loyal working bees? Average employees life is not getting better after all changes. While the investors and executives receiving a big fat check, we suffer in daily life. Forced to work on the second job to support a family. Sorry for those many employees had let go. Their life were jeopardized but this company didn't care. Execs don't feel sorry, though they may say sorry. Because employees are commodities. We are expendable, nothing better than nuts and bolts. Couldn't stand the fake smile and fake 'thank you' speech.

We're sorry to hear that your experience with Avetta was unsatisfactory. Thank you for your comments and positive mentions. Our complimentary snacks and generous medical benefits are just a number of perks we provide for our hardworking employees and it's simply because we know they deserve them and so much more. With Avetta's transition, a new executive management team now leads a dynamic team of individuals committed to the success of the company. Although we understand it may have been difficult and challenging at times, we hope you understand change was a part of the natural equation for a growth stage company at our size. Thank you for your service and we wish you the best in all your future endeavors.
