Pros

For the people that are foolish enough to believe that Avid is on the up-up-up, then good for them, they're still newbie or 'blind' enough to buy the senior management story.

Cons

For the rest of us, the concept that senior management are 'encouraging' staff to leave positive reviews right here on GlassDoor. I can't vouch for the 'rewards' offered to staff leaving "positive" reviews, however, if you see a short, glowing, 5-star review, bear in mind that it's highly unlikely to be the truth.

This sums it up: Extend Cost Reduced Milestone-Resources, Reinvent Low cost employees to payless, Extend Cost Reduced Out-Flow Innovate Proactive Results and Deploy Measurable Feedback Metrics, and all kinds of this kind of gobbledygook ...

Cons

Profanity comes to mind here - let's just say that, with the management currently - they are implementing cuts that are getting rid of industry leaders in the field, putting into place accounting uninformed cost cutting travel requirements, and have just today required that employees use a company credit card for all expenses, which is another blow to cutting benefits (such as they were), and a hardship...
