Pros

People are great! Location is good. People are great. That's it.

Cons

Restructuring, furloughs, outsourcing, layoffs, you name it, AVID has it! Sad to see a company with great products go downhill so the CEO can boast about how many houses and companies he owns and what his next alcoholic drink will be. That's what the quarterly meetings consist of.

3% company 401(k) match Bonuses paid out in April 2016 at 65% Even though we sold the most products in a decade. Why? Senior management set the goal in outer space to they could pay people next to nothing. I have never received less than 85% bonus during flat years from other companies. Expect mass exodus but maybe that is the intent.

CEO and BOD are a big part of the problem

Some really hard working and bright people. Most with any sense and credibility have already left.

Cons

Living off the legacy business with no new innovation, It is amazing the CEO has fooled the BOD for so long. Maybe they should ask him about his return on investment on the Orad purchase, pennies on the dollar. What a joke. No accountability at the top.
