Pros

The company is growing and is good at winning contracts.

Cons

The employees are treated badly. They are clearly expendable. I could give many examples about how employees are treated badly so you can believe that statement or not, your choice. There are definitely better places to work. Although impossible to describe the entire company in a few paragraphs my impression is that employees fall into 3 rough categories: 1. Long term employees who know that they are being treated badly. These folks are just trying to hang on until retirement. 2. Mid career employees who probably know they are treated badly but are not competent enough to get hired anywhere else. 3. Junior employees who don't know they are being treated badly because that is all the experience they have. The company has lots of senior level employees and lots of entry level employees, with a hollowed out mid level. I believe that is because many of the mid level employees were either laid off during previous downsizing periods or left when they could find better work. This company does not have the "best and brightest" in the industry. The employees do not treat each other well. Even walking down the hall nobody makes eye contact and they certainly aren't smiling at each other. Nearly every time I introduce myself to someone I see fear in their face, which I assume to be fear of being given more work or fear of a random act of management. There is a very heavy conservative political atmosphere. The T.V.s in the lunch room and lobby blare Fox News. There are lots of former military employees who have had it beaten into them that taking orders and not thinking for yourself is doing the right thing. I read the other reviews on Glassdoor and am fairly confident that the company hires a reputation management company to post false positive reviews. If you read many of the other reviews you will notice the other reviews are written so generically that they could be about any company at all. If you are smart enough to read the reviews here you are smart enough to find a better place to work.

Pros

Compensation, industry standard benefits, good 401K Match.

Cons

If you aren't a Global Grade 15 or above your opinions really don't matter. I raised ethical violations to Human Resources, and internal ethics committee with evidence and senior management not only covered it up, during the investigation I was retaliated and my agreed on compensation for my new position was changed. BAE allows certain technical experts literally belittle subordinates especially in the FastLabs business sector.
