The group of execs make the worst decisions and are in denial about it. Failed investments, poor directions and unreasonable deadlines have caused them to layoff tons of people in the past few months. They have no concern for the growth and well-being of their employees and all they want to do is use you up until they've sucked everything out of you. No matter how long you've been with the company and no matter how much you've sacrificed for it, they could let you go because of someone else's mistakes.
Designers are rushed to design products but once it is handed off, the next person decides to sit on the idea for a year, delaying the process. I've seen many well-designed products get to the point where they are ready to go on shelves, however they end up no where. At least put something up on the online store! Well, we know that's not going to happen now because they laid off everyone who would be able to do that. We also know that you'll never give your employees decent benefits either.
