Pros

The motto work hard, play hard is taken very seriously here. With Beer Friday happening weekly, pyro at all-hands meetings, and the most extreme Halloween you've ever seen. You have to be self-motivated some times or it is easy to fall into the distractions around you. -Some of the clients they work with are industry leaders, so it's great to get to connect with them and flex your creativity -flexible hours and understanding management -your opinions seem highly valued

Cons

-Campus is a bit outdated, and could use some renovating - "Client is always right" mentality sometimes means the client can abuse team members, with no protection from upper mgmt - Tech and analytic systems are lacking both internally and customer-facing. Causes frustrations when clients are sold top-of-the-line tech and the team can't deliver -"boys club" mentality makes for sometimes inappropriate jokes/dialogue

Thank you for the suggestions. As a company these issues are being looked at and even added to the project plans for each budget year. We are going to keep improving, growing, and making things better for everyone, clients and employees alike!

Work Hard, Play Hard!

Pros

I've worked at BDA for several years and greatly enjoy my job. I prefer a job that is challenging, keeps me busy and gives me growth opportunities. I've found those at BDA. One of BDA's core values, is Work Hard, Play Hard and we do! I look forward to more years with BDA!

Cons

BDA has had some growing pains the past few years (acquisitions, onboarding new large clients at the busiest time of the year, warehouse issues), but is learning from the challenges and is emerging a better company.

Pros

It could be a fun first "real" job post college

Cons

Everything is always in crisis mode. Lack of leadership. They really don't care a lot about their employees or the clients. Lots of shady dealings with clients and with performance bonuses.

Our core values include Team and Family as well as Total Client Affinity. Every day there are examples that show we live these values such as when our clients ask us to achieve the near impossible and we do it. We Make it Happen (another one of our core values) and our clients recognize us for it by renewing contracts with us year over year. Clearly your experience was not the best for you and we sincerely hope you find what you are looking for elsewhere.
