      Good coworkers but with poor management

      Pros

      - Good health benefits - Friendly and professional colleagues - Non-profit organization - Good diversity & inclusion

      Cons

      - Lack of training for leadership and career development - No immediate 401k vesting (5 years to get a 100% matching) - Lack of leadership for growth and efficiency - Outdated IT system (Digital Transformation is on the way) - Incentive/ merit increase may not follow the industry standard - Not desirable work and life balance ( can be very poor depending on the position and micromanagement from leadership)

      The worst employment experience I've ever had.

      Pros

      From Senior Executives to member-facing employees, the majority of the organization believes in and lives our values. Four weeks of PTO as a new hire is nice. Good overall benefits package.

      Cons

      401(k) match and vesting isn't competitive. The Total Rewards leader does not seem to value the Benefits group. There had been 2 of us administering benefits for all 2,300+ employees. We would work 10+ hour days, usually without breaks longer than a quick trip to the restroom, while other members of the team have very little to do, yet nobody helps. Other groups within TR receive additional headcount while the Benefits team is left to drown. A departmental culture of selective cooperation exists and is seemingly supported. These issues have been brought to TR leadership's attention many times with no action taken. Is there any wonder why I am the 3rd person in my position in the last 18 months and the second to leave without having another position lined up?

      Absolutely Awful

      Pros

      Nothing is good about working here... the pay is on par with any other bank or slightly lower.

      Cons

      They don't follow their own policies, the people are shady, hr won't help you, they play favorites to no end, conversations with management are required to be off the record at all times meaning no recorded phone calls, no emails, etc. Just not a good place to work for a moral person. No room for growth. They literally tell you go to elsewhere, get more experience, and then come back. Save your time and don't work here.
