Cons

Rosters can be really large, and there are seasons of really strong work flow.

They weren't willing to give me a chance. I applied for job after job and had a handful of first round interviews but was never selected. I even took it upon myself to do additional training and attend lunch and learns (virtual events to learn more about how to be successful). I felt like I was more than capable of taking on a client but none of CSC's would take a chance on me because I lacked experience. I was "let go" at the 90 day mark when I had yet to be matched with my first client. There wasn't even a conversation about it. I received an email thanking me for my time (and I had invested HOURS applying, training, etc) and wishing me luck in the future.

What a World!

Pros

I came to BELAY after a strong recommendation and just like the person who referred me, I also thought the shoe would drop at some point. This company amazes me each and every day! We really are faster-paced because we are always looking for ways to be more efficient with our processes. Leadership genuinely wants to hear you out, meetings are transparent and informative, and you do feel like you matter. If you're not used to remote, it can probably be an adjustment but I am grateful every day to truly have balance with my personal and work life. I love working from home so I am a-okay with a home office. Seeing my teammates once per quarter with a few in-person meetings sprinkled in is great for me. Part of what fuels that connection is that we are required to have our cameras on and I love that. I can't wait to see what my journey here will look like in a year, two years time.

Cons

If you are not in management, the pay is a little on the lower side. It is countered by great benefits, flexibility, and just overall great quality of life. I'm lucky to not be the sole provider in my family so the pay isn't hurting me but could be better especially with how competitive the market is.
