relaxed place to work, not stressful, easy, friendly staff, good systems, regular hours, good pay, great work ethic among employees

Cons

poor recognition for a job done, no advancement opportunities, low bonuses, very poor communication from senior management, jobs lack a challenge, very high staff turnover

No Compliance culture and lack of recources to carry out your role efficiently

The only pro is being exposed to a large number of investment products

Cons

Lack of work life balance and senior management buy into compliance. Complince is not taken seriously and does not interfere with the day to day running of the company. Brokers are not made aware of a compliance culture nor are they encouraged toe be by Senior Management.

Pros

If you have relationships with dealers who will use you as thier broker you can make godd money fairly quickly.

Cons

If you dont know any dealers and your not an outgoing person willing to entertain the customer CONSTANTLY, then its a very tough business.
