      Has gone downhill quickly and badly in the past 10 years

      Pros

      It was a great place to work for the first 15+ years. Now it's too big and they are too greedy.

      Cons

      Treat long term employees as disposable... Why pay one person X amount that has been there over 20 years when you can hire two that don't know ANYTHING. Patient care is suffering. The providers and staff are usually great but trying to standardize across all facilities is killing you and your staff. Greed and money. New system's main point is making sure the patient is eligible and they have a referral. Revenue has increased. Moral is in the toliet.

      Pros

      Most of the people in IS are terrific, and generally a pleasure to work with. Very flexible schedules allow for work-from-home days, unusual hours as needed (i.e. picking up kids), etc.

      Cons

      No real raises, just a COLA around 2% for the past several years. Everyone gets the same raise, regardless of being a stellar performer or a tremendous slacker. No manager higher than a PM has a clue what goes on down at the bottom level of the org chart.

      You can get away with anything if you play the political game correctly, because no one is accountable for anything.

      Cons

      No one is accountable for anything. So if you care about doing your job well then you don't fit in here.
