Pros

Building is very enabling with a modern hot-desking fit out. Working from home, working different hours is possible with flexible working and the culture has moved towards a engaging and positive one

Cons

Most banks are under pressure from innovators and wish to become 'start-ups' in their approach to customer solutions yet they're hindered with multiple legacy systems and a need to grow revenue and profits and to pay dividends those back to CBA. This contradiction doesn't work - a desire to constantly cut costs and reduce spending in IT whilst at the same time growing IT. Cost cut our way to a glorious future - said no-one, ever.

Pros

Supporter of flexible working arrangements, family friendly. Rewards and recognition are a focus which is welcomed.

Cons

Disconnection between leadership and frontline. Disconnect between retail and business. Inadequate number of branches across the network to support the business customers.

Pros

Great staff members to work with.

Cons

Constant changes which are not making it a pleasant work experience. Staff are being moved around like figures on a chess board. No regard given to peoples abilities, staff are not being consulted on job changes. People are afraid to speak up as Management is intimidating. Obviously CBA has given management the task to cut numbers although officially "no redundancies". So people are being put on special report and every little thing is marked as an error. Then at the end of the Special Report term people are being asked to put in their resignation and if they wont they will be sacked.
