Worst team in France

Pros

A few nice people at the team in France Offices ideally located in Paris city center

Cons

Such a terrible experience with France's director. Most employees were working under a terrible pressure and if you were not compliant or willing to do the same, you were treated like a paria. Poor management skills, low pay.

Good local RO culture

Pros

The local RO culture is a good one and the local manager is actually trying to keep this going. Most of the teams have good, friendly and helpful people. The environment is pleasant and office and equipment adequate and continuously improving. There is an interesting mix of extra benefits.

Cons

Wages are on the low side, even if many years ago Basware RO was famous for having the best people and the best salaries. You don't have any possibility to renegotiate your salary, and the yearly increases are like a third of the local inflation (so you basically get a real purchasing power cut every year). Even if there is a clear desire not to hire toxic people, sometimes because internal personnel is being promoted, that does not have proper managing training and human relation skills, they turn out not to be the best choice (quite the opposite in some teams). This could be corrected but it does not really happen as it would involve hiring from outside (which would imply paying them competitive salaries).

Culture of teamwork & positivity - the caliber of people Basware hires is amazing. Top-of-market products. Internal systems are efficient, effective. Very competitive pay. Virtual positions available.

Cons

A lot of institutional knowledge in the people - and when they leave, it often leaves with them.
