Going into this role, I was excited and looking forward to learning an entirely new set of skills and growing within this company. Unfortunately, it was the worst working experience of my life. The cliquey nature of the department I was in was repulsive. I was micromanaged yet also excluded and left to figure everything out on my own. My coworkers were pleasant and offered help but they were overworked and unable to do more than answer quick, direct questions. I've never felt so unwelcome or uncomfortable. My direct manager was rude, passive-aggressive, and unwilling to train me. He would walk by my desk dozens of times a day, micromanaging, and making impudent comments. Unfortunately, all managers in that department were similar, hence, the toxic environment. When it's you vs. three abrasive managers, you can't win. I don't expect rainbows and butterflies from management every day but I deserve respect. Even some constructive criticism would have been helpful. I dreaded going to work because of them.

Unrealistic expectations, technologically challenged, poor use of time management, no work life balance, poor middle management, very “clicky”, not a company that cares about their employees as individuals.
