      Easy, friendly people to work with - the only recruiting agency I've stuck with.

      Pros

      The recruiters working with you work hard to get to know you on a level beyond your resume. They specifically consider which opportunities may or may not work for you, rather than just throwing everything at you or making all your decisions for you. I had excellent interactions with everybody I spoke with at Beacon Hill. I've generally found recruiting agencies to be a waste of time, but Beacon Hill is the exception to the rule - the needle in a haystack. Definitely recommend working with them.

      Cons

      No cons for me - the only "annoying" part is that they keep your phone ringing! They keep in regular contact to check up on how your job search is going, but never felt overbearing to me. Only good experiences :)

      Pros

      The company as a whole seemed great. Fridays leave at 4, no problems having drinks on Fridays, pay is weekly, benefits, company Christmas Party in Boston.

      Cons

      The team I was on was new, and the person who ran it seemed so nice and great at first. It is a facade. This person catered to her 2 best friends that she brought with her to the company. They started making things up about the way I worked and things literally came out of left field that didn't actually happen. (Gossip, typical women) The favoritism was soo real! To the point where one person didn't have to do much to get her candidates placed while I did a lot of work and she purposely didn't try to place my candidates, but my numbers spoke for themselves. I did really well. I got feedback later from people I placed at companies how much they hated working with Beacon Hill and couldn't wait to not work with them anymore, which I assume is the person over this team that they were referring to. Two others on the same team left very shortly after me. They again were not her best friends.

      they are only interested in their own best interests

      well I got a temp job so I guess that's a positive

      Cons

      when they found out I was looking for a new job they bullied me and said that was unacceptable and could be grounds for termination. For the love, I was looking for a temp job when I came to you, of course I'm looking for a new job. I have autonomy to hmm, pursue my own best interests? at least I thought I did? But they seem to only have their own best interests in mind and their own earning potential. I wouldn't recommend if you want to have a temp job while continuing to look for jobs that interest you. Bummer. Because income is a necessity while unemployed and job hunting. Very disappointed in Beacon Hill and wouldn't recommend.
