Pros

There was a lot of flexibility due to the lack of leadership. There is unlimited PTO and occasional work from home days, but only when absolutely needed. You can expense many meals and a lot is paid for, which saves money.

Cons

The office environment consisted of manipulation, dishonesty, and hypocrisy. There was also a lack of work ethic, which was demotivating, especially to those who joined the team looking for drive and support. There are 8 of us that left in less than a year and a half and there could be more at this point. That is extremely high turnover in a short amount of time. This was due to the lack of leadership and management. The women in the office suffered emotional damage. Behavior that was displayed was inappropriate and disgusting. There were 6 HR violations (sexual harassment included) that I am aware of in the short time I was there. There is also a lot of alcohol abuse during work hours and outside of work hours. This caused embarrassing and uncomfortable situations. My advice would be to contact any previous BH Technologies Denver employees to validate this review and so much more that is not shared. This opportunity will be sold as the most amazing place to work. They hire adults and they trust those adults. That is far from the case!

Hello, We are very sorry to hear about your negative experiences in Denver and appreciate your feedback. We are committed to ensuring that every one of our staff members comes to work feeling safe, respected, and valued. We take your comments seriously and, if you would be willing, would like to hear more details about your side of the story (and give you details about how we investigated and responded to your concerns when they occurred). Please consider reaching out to us by sending an email to contactus@beaconhillstaffing.com. That being said, we want to make it clear that we stand by our employees and our leadership in every one of our offices nationwide. We are proud to have been named a “Best Staffing Firm to Work For” by Staffing Industry Analysts; a “Top Place to Work” by the Boston Globe; a “Best Place to Work” by the Boston Business Journal, Dallas Business Journal, and Nashville Business Journal; and others. We invest in hiring individuals of outstanding moral character and integrity because we believe that it takes great people to recruit great people. Undoubtedly, that same high standard of moral fiber was applied when we brought you on the team, which is why we find your feedback so troubling. In Denver, specifically, we are pleased with how the team is developing, how they are collaborating with each other, and the growth we have achieved in just two short years. Denver’s team is a close-knit, cohesive unit, and we are excited to see what we can build. We trust and believe in our people, and know they are committed to upholding the highest standard of kindness and integrity when it comes to how they treat other team members, clients, and candidates alike. We regret that you found your experience here to be negative and we wish you the very best in your future career endeavors. Sincerely, Executive Management

Pros

If you can't find a job as an attorney anywhere else... Honestly though, it is not an ideal industry to be working in. They do understand that the people they hire do not want to work temporary jobs, I mean we're lawyers for gods sake, so they are very understanding about the fact that everyone there is looking for permanent work, and no one wants to be a temporary staffer forever.

Cons

They are not particularly responsive or helpful. I felt like I was locked into only being able to apply for positions that the person I initially dealt with was staffing, and could not get a shot at other projects staffed by other Beacon personnel. There was a misunderstanding between myself, Beacon and the client I was working for, that I felt occurred in large part because Beacon was not responsive to the client's inquiries/ needs.

Pros

None, didn’t have the opportunity to even perform the job.

Cons

New grad, first ever job, worked for the company for 4 1/2 days total. The hiring manager put me infront of zooms back to back to shadow other offices as her form of “training” me. I was always on time, polite and engaged as I took so many notes for each meeting. On the morning of the 5th day she sat me down to tell me that I’m not enthusiastic or curious enough. That my personality isn’t exciting enough for the job and that the person she met before I started isn’t here and “clearly isn’t going to be”.  This woman attacked my personality and didn’t even give me the chance to even attempt the job. Instead of guiding me each day, giving constructive criticism as a manager should, she just stood back and watched what she believed me to be “failing” for four days. Do not work for this company, specifically in the associates department.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're truly sorry to hear that you felt unsupported during your first days with us. Starting a new role—especially as a recent graduate—should come with guidance, encouragement, and honest feedback, and we regret that this wasn’t your experience. We’re taking your feedback seriously and will use it to improve how we support new team members moving forward. We sincerely wish you all the best in your career.
