Pros

I had an extremely positive experience working with Beacon Hill Staffing. Amanda at the Boston Office is amazing. She found multiple opportunities that she knew I would be interested in and was always checking in! I would recommend Beacon Hill Staffing, and especially Amanda, to anyone looking for a new role! She is energetic, informative, professional, and really understood exactly what I was looking for. I know they are a busy company but Amanda truly made me feel like I was her top priority at all times

Cons

Not working with them sooner!

Pros

Good culture. They mainly hire people out of college so it makes for a fun atmosphere.

Cons

They hire people with zero experience, have zero training and then constantly fire people. You are basically working with new people every 3-6 months. A lot of people left in the DC office due to poor managers.

Hello, We regret to hear about your negative experiences in our DC office and appreciate you reaching out to us. While it is true that many of our staff members are relatively new to the staffing world, we are also proud to say that about 1 in 5 of our employees have been with us for at least 5 years. Given that we were founded in 2000, that means that much of our company has been around for at least a third of our lifespan! We take your comments seriously and we would like to learn more about your perspective. If you would be willing, please consider reaching out to us by sending an email to contactus@beaconhillstaffing.com. That being said, we stand by our leadership in every one of our offices nationwide. We are proud to have been recognized for our positive working environment by publications such as Staffing Industry Analysts, The Boston Globe, and the Boston Business Journal, as well as many others. We trust and believe in our people, and know they are committed to upholding the highest standard of kindness and integrity when it comes to how they treat team members, clients, and candidates alike. We regret your negative experience with our company and wish you the best in your future career endeavors. Sincerely, Executive Management

Pros

The management at a local and corporate level are bar none. They do an excellent job of working with every employee on helping them achieve not only their professional goals, but also their personal goals. The career guidance you receive here is like none I have ever seen in my career thus far. I have recommended several former colleagues of mine to Beacon Hill and will continue to do so.

Cons

Since Beacon Hill is newer in some markets, you will not necessarily have a name recognition when speaking with candidates or clients. This is something you should be aware of when interviewing. You might need to work extra hard to build this up in your specific market. On the plus side, I don't know a market that Beacon Hill is in where there is a negative connotation associated with it like you see with many other recruiting firms.
