Pros

Efficient in managing back office paper work and time reporting. Generally pleasant contracting agents.

Cons

In my region -- Georgia -- Beacon Hill seems to have become the staffing company that all of the employers who can't hire contract employees or retain them seem to gravitate to. I had two experiences with Beacon Hill clients that were simply brutal and unimaginable in today's working world. Don't walk from Beacon Hill. Simply run.

Pros

Buckhead Georgia Office, Nice Location! Clean and EMPTY Office.

Cons

The hoax of available positions fitting my skills and background experience should have been obvious after meeting the recruiters who wore more make-up then the amount of temp to hire, dire hire, seasonal, temp, etc. positions perpetuated! I was rushed in for an interview, which lasted all of ten minutes. Obviously, I wasn't a fit because after several days I phoned Atlanta's Beacon Staffing Agency and the first recruiter I interviewed with answered the phone and had NO clue as to who I was. Seriously? Unless you are in the market to waste your time, stay clear of BSA, period!

Pros

The company does a lot to try to make it fun: happy hours, "beers in the bullpen" on Fridays and quarterly outings. The location in downtown dc is really nice.

Cons

35k base salary. Very stressful environment and limited time off. Very long hours, usually at least 10-12 a day. Most people in the office are pretty negative and complain non stop, with good reason, but it's a grind. Staffing is hard but its even more difficult with crummy management and no real leadership and you never know where you stand. I would not recommend working here.
