Pros

I got out very early.

Cons

Expect to be micromanaged to the hilt, regardless of experience. Expect compensation to vary widely. Expect to be lied to about said compensation and benefits only to find others have what you have asked for, with less experience, though with genetic ties to said management. Expect bennies to eat up a LOT of your paycheck. Expect to be a robot with no opinion about anything outside the walls of that office lest you be browbeaten for it. Expect no transparency at all if the company is not doing well. Expect favoritism from management. Expect to be lied to about why other employees are no longer around. Poorest run company I have ever worked at.

DC Beacon Hill Observations

Pros

Good location in downtown Wash, DC.

Cons

The Staffing Recruiters at the DC location of Beacon Hill could certainly use a lesson in manners. The response time (call back from recruiter) was VERY POOR. Often times, the available position was long gone by the time the DC staffing representative responded (1 or 2 weeks later). PS. Dare you voice a concern about ANY aspect of a DC Recruiter's treatment (i.e. delays in response time, among other things). Doesn't appear to be a location who want to hear a concern and seek to change, correct, modify, or improve upon their process. Very DEFENSIVE to any employee who voices a constructive concern (you'll get a verbal scolding, LOL). They're closed to any and everything but a compliment. Sad

Pros

They pay on time. Strong Client relationships. Good for fresh college graduates. Big client names look great on the resume.

Cons

They have an obsession for weekly timecards. For experienced techies, this is not the place. They agree on a certain rate and after client interview bargain with the rate to increase their margin. I will never work with them again.
