Pros

discounts, decent hours. decent training, employees help each other to not recieve criticism from management, and you get to work by yourself alot of the time.

Cons

If your young get ready to do anything involving bending, lifting, pushing and pulling. Work loads sometimes get out of hand, your gaurenteed to be exhausted so no social life. iregular hours one day you have to close the next you have to open. Management is never satisfied with you!

Pros

I enjoyed being given more responsibility and learning many new things. The company is not in debt and could have a bright future if they make some major changes to prevent turn over. People were very talented and had good work ethic. Good starter job, but not for someone looking for a more balanced work life.

Cons

The overtime was ridiculous, and it seemed to be the corporate attitude, there was a lot of pressure to work well over 6 pm. I would have asked for more money if I knew I would be working over 47 hours +. My manger ignored this and never gave me a 90 day review! The worst part is the benefits do not start for nine months and those were very expensive, yet they gave away 100,000 to Florida schools!? Word of advice, don't get sick. The computers were old, and needed updating badly. The old fashioned way of thinking is too ingrained in the higher ups, I felt like I was in church half the time. Too old south for me, they will fall to JC Penny and Khols with these ways of thinking. I wanted to slit my throat when I heard the bible stories being brought up in meetings as a way to explain competition in the world market! I mean are you serious?

Cons

Long hours ........Low pay....No sick leave........work you like a dog........expect to much from one person......not enough employees .....they have store managers that know nothing........ at corporate the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing....they have not caught up with technology...they kiss the customers butt even if the customer is wrong....they will let customers return stuff from 10 years ago...the trucks are a disaster....prices go up and down then up and down again...they have a blind eye to stupid store managers.
