on the store level managers are petty bullies that fight amongst themselves, then how a manager interacts with you depends on how they feel about your manager. On the corporate side now that the Belk brothers are no longer there the benefits are awful. The insurance isn’t worth having. I loved my job for 10 years, now it is a completely different company and I cannot say enough about how bad it is. Also the Gainesville GA location is infested with rats for over a year. Not a few here and there infested. To the point when you come to work you have to ask for someone to clean the rat droppings from your work area and people would be sick from smelling rat urine all day. The rats also destroyed personal property like lunch boxes and purses. This went on for over a year and the rats are sill there. I went from loving my job to literally being nauseous every time I drove to work.
