Belk will chew you up and spit you out, regardless if you’ve worked there one year or forty. Management is not taught how to manage, they are just promoted because they are good at their jobs. Communication from HR is untrustworthy and lacking. Communication between departments makes it almost impossible to do a job once. Every project gets redone because a lack of communication somewhere down the line.

Manager @ floor managers are the worst, won’t back associates, don’t come to help with a situation. 3 manager’s in 2 months have quit. Over worked. Pay is terrible. Store looks like a bargain basement. People use fitting rooms as a toilet & the bathroom ‘s are filthy. No shopping carts. Our manager doesn’t even acknowledge the customers
