Your best is never enough. No positive feedback. You exceed sales goals and there's no acknowledgement . Opening Belk cards takes priority over everything and apparently the only thing that matters.

Cons

Belk is one sided only thinking about Belk. They push item locator, selling charges, reflexis giving full timers hours that are meant for part time help, commission sales people never get raises or a pat on the back. Co workers are great.

The constant Employee discounts. Coworkers were nice to work with. We would have each other's backs and encouraging words for one another.

Cons

New management are just firing people not really knowing what individuals do and how much they contribute to the company. People are overworked and understaffed even though it is promised that they will hire more help. Even though there's new leaderships in place I feel that their attitudes don't change the work environment for better and actually truly look after each of their current employees who puts in 150% and keep their promises instead of letting people go I can see Belk going the way of disappearing department stores.
