Pros

All the "pros" that we had have been taken away 1 by 1 by the company that bought Belk. The only thing really left is the 20% discount.

Cons

Relentless about pushing Belk credits, email capture and item locating (ordering), to the point that it reflects heavily on your reviews. Management makes it too stressful. The company is more interested on pushing it's e-commerce than face to face customer service.

Pros

Employee discount is great especially on double discount days because you can use coupons on top of that and nothing is excluded

Cons

Lots of overtime with no extra pay. Horrible hours. Unrealistic sales goals. Don’t provide enough man power to meet needs of stores.

Promotions when deserved, incentives for giving great customer service.

Cons

Checks and balances are non-existant, corporate only listens to store manager while other feedback is tossed to the side, pressure (dare I say shaming) to open credit accounts, ever changing schedule and hours.
