Management often does not back up employees on the floor
Unrealistic expectations are presented for employees, which means they are forced to pick and choose
Customers are trained to be monsters - if they complain about ANYTHING, management expects us to accommodate them at any cost (accepting old coupons, honoring misplaced signs, discounts for any inconvenience they experienced in our store, accepting ALL returns, no questions asked)
"Just make the customer happy"
Store is incredibly understaffed, which leads to less personal experiences with customers and often ties you down to the register
While the discount is nice, you can't use your personal credit card or debit card and when double discount comes around, you rarely know it
Coupons are terrible, customers are worse (mostly because of the coupons)
Everything is ALWAYS on sale here, so it's a wonder they make any money; everyone asks if our store is going out of business because of such low prices and inventory
