Terrible managers who expect you to be superhuman and do everything by yourself. Managers who don't how to do their job. Inconsistent hours. Expect you to do full time employees work for part pay.

A change in management has brought a negative attitude to the entire staff. There have been a "shortage of hours" that has never existed in the four years I work there, yet they still manage to hire new employees. When concerns are brought to the store managers, such as a lack of hours, employee conflicts, etc., no action is ever taken. Arguments about sales and merchandise recovery occur daily in front of customers and other employees. The competition of sales causes bullying problem amongst employees, though few departments work on commission. These problems are not dealt with according to Belk policies and the harassment continues.
