Pros

Seemed like a good place to work overall

Cons

Company seemed a little behind the times at points. Average employee age seemed quite high.

Pros

Interesting product to work on.

Cons

Old school mentality (age discrimination to younger employees)... not progressive thinkers.

Pros

The products that are manufactured -But I could see that if you were a part of the Union, this company would be a fantastic place to work (you will Not lose your job regardless of the lack of effort)!

Cons

-Union; Does not give a reason for employees to work (earn their pay). The rules are so binding that there is no reason for an employee to excel! -Union rules state that an employee cannot be reprimanded in writing for being late unless they have accumulated more than 80!!!!! hours of tardiness. -The Union seems to lead to marginal performance by design; there is Zero benefit to excelling in this Union enviroment. It is all about seniority that allows someone to advance, capability to do the job is verylow on the requirement list. -There is a significant "rfit" between management and employees. It appears that supervisors are shifted around so much that the lack of continuity of supervision leave Union workers with little to no respect for Supervisors (the Supervisors will be rotated to a now position in a few short months and will not have the opporunity to address issues the union workers need addressed) -Supervisors have to many employees to supervise leaving little time to address employee issues much less basic supervision of the project.
