Pros

Free make-up when training and throughout the year. Like every company, you'll find nice, well-meaning staff members.

Cons

There isn't any diversity, which can make you feel like an outsider very quickly. Their shade range is limited, so even as an employee I couldn't find my own shade. Seems like a racist company so i got out of there pretty quick.

Pros

Every six months me you get a make up allowance mine was £150 I think for part time and it’s £200 for full time. So for me that was around 5/6 products every 6 months depending on what I chose. You also receive a free product whenever they launch something new. 2% commission for every product you sell (if it isn’t stolen off of you)

Cons

As mentioned you receive 2% commission but at many counters the person training to be the assistant or whoever did the books in the end would steal commission off of you and put it on there own sheet. Several ways of doing it. They also used to do till checks and if you forgot to put something on your sheet to say you sold it. They would write it on there own and make out they stole it. Management does nothing about it. Traffic stopping is another pain. You are constantly pushed to go out and stop people and bring them back. I get that it’s part of the job and you’re told this when you apply but it is typically used as a form of punishment by management. Clicky groups, working with a team of all girls can get catty. They used to single girls out that they thought were the weaker ones or quieter ones and say nasty things about them and leave them out of the group. I only worked part time and I’m sharp with my answers so nothing was said to me. But it happened on several benefit counters.
