Things could be better, new senior management causing strain and stress and confusion
Pros
I do like my co-workers and some of the perks afforded to us. I still very much am behind our CEO. Shawn inspires me when he gets the rare chance to speak these days. I wish he was more involved like he was in the past. You could really feel his devotion to this company and it made you want to work and strive for the best. I do really like the freedom of being able to work remote if necessary and I honestly think the PTO policy is very generous based on other companies I've heard of.
Cons
Lots of extra hours with absolutely no overtime pay or bonuses. Days are filled with meetings so you can't actually do anything you need to during the day. We have very little documentation, it changes so quickly we never keep up, and training is literally non-existent. Struggle to find associates these days who will take initiative and actually try to figure things out themselves instead of asking their managers. Things have changed drastically since Ray became president. He's brought in a ton of "his" people and tried to revamp everything which has turned into a bigger cluster than we had before. We should have reassessed our processes before bringing in global resources who don't speak English well and can't think for themselves. They want a checklist that's nonexistent with the 500 ways to do something and all the issues we run into requiring critical thinking. It's more of a hindrance than a help. Heard of a director stripped of their duties because upper management thinks things need to be fixed when in reality that person was not given enough resources to succeed. Everything is a "secret". Just be real and honest with us.
