Pros

You get a salary You get benefits You get life insurance The 24th and Camelback office is in a good location

Cons

Senior management chooses to treat employees in a way that makes them feel not valued Senior management strongly encourages employees to work at all hours of the day and night Salaried employees have a poor work/life balance Micromanagement is the rule, not the exception Employees are not empowered to do the right thing for the customer/hotel owner/general manager

Pros

Many hotel owners are great to work with. They truly appreciate your helps corporate.

Cons

Employees do not have management support and do not receive recognition. The employee survey consistently shows lack of recognition as the number one problem at the organization, year over year. Middle managers and some upper management will point fingers and look for a scapegoat to protect themselves. Certain departments are very dysfunctional with regular turnovers and reorganizations.

Pros

More downtime and able to customize your own cubicle. Not as high of call volume compared to other departments, better pay than other departments. $11/hr and almost guaranteed 38hrs/wk.

Cons

Terrible training, like really bad wasting time when we could have been learning training. Had 2 instructors, one who was old and not even used to the newer protocols, and the other very knowledgeable, and constantly correcting the first instructor. After training, was not even remotely ready for the burden of this job. Not only do you fight with customers, but managers at the hotels will break you down so bad, you have to have thick skin for this job.
