-Very rewarding experience working with the students -Management is usually flexible -Coworkers and managers are fun to work with

Cons

-The company model for how classes should be run is nearly impossible to follow with large classes -Understaffed -Pay is not competitive with other tutoring/enrichment companies. -Management is beginning to lose their small business friendliness and flexibility. The company is becoming too big too fast -Pay scale for development is far too low to make the extra work appealing

The management offers opportunities to increase the number of scheduled work hours if willing and able to work flexible hours at multiple locations. Fellow staff are friendly.

Cons

Having multiple scheduled hours without a break is not uncommon. Some parents' expectations do not reasonably reflect the students' abilities.

Pros

Pretty relaxed environment as you're tutoring kids ranging from K-12. Manager was extremely nice and was understanding, which led to a lot of flexible scheduling. Also, the manager wasn't in all the time, so I often took over the managerial responsibilities during the weekdays, which gave me a lot of experience in the inner workings of a company.

Cons

Not much growth or mobility as you're simply a tutor.
