Pros

-The kids, who come with the intention to improve their grades in school or to get ahead. -Co-workers are nice and cool to work with

Cons

-The management can use some major improvement. No fixed pay rate. Very profit driven and sometimes disregard the teachers' needs. -Inconsistent attendance: sometimes 1 student shows up, and other times, 10 students show up, which can be very overwhelming for only one teacher. -Minimal training (only 1 hour shadow) and discouraging environment from the owners limit the teachers' ability and creativity. -Pay: Low pay for the required amount of work. Round down the extra minutes (This may only be at the branch that I worked at) -No control over the quality of their teachers (No actual interview. Only assessment tests required. Take the applicants' words for the position) -Criticisms: This may only apply to my branch. The owners criticize the teachers' ability to teach the class in front of the students. -Pessimism: Again, this may only apply to my branch. The owners follow a poor business model and have no positive outlook. They often complained about how students tend to drop out after two weeks to teachers, discouraging the positive teaching environment,

Pros

-Working with tons of kids K-12 -Good workplace environment -Cool co-workers Essentially, this a great place for those looking to go into the teaching discipline, to gain experience working with kids in a classroom setting. Though, it's not strictly the same as teaching from a classroom, it serves as a good primer.

Cons

-Sometimes, it can get overwhelming for tutors due to how many students are booked for a particular class. There are times when classes are relatively empty, and times when they're packed full. Obviously, this reflects the fact that certain time frames are more desirable than others, so it's hard to say what exactly can be done here.

Pros

-Work with kids -Fairly good effective for teaching. -Management is relatively friendly.

Cons

-Stressful. Often it will be 8 students to 1 tutor. Given the nature of the teaching strategy this can be very difficult. -Centers often feel disorganized -Pay could be a little higher.
